Prevent iTunes from moving songs when adding to Music Library [SOLVED]

iTunes exhibits a potentially problematic behavior when adding songs. Specifically, when you add songs to an iTunes music library. By default iTunes copies songs to the “iTunes Media folder. This can be rather wasteful as you can end up with a ton of space used by the duplicate media, potentially eating up a huge chunk of your SSD/HDD space. 🙁 Thankfully, this behavior can be adjusted easily. 🙂 Here is the spot to make the change: iTunes -> Preferences -> Advanced

UPDATE August 29th, 2020:  Canon changed their driver link on their site, here is the new link to the D530 driver page at Canon.com The URL above lists both the scanner driver and the printer driver. I recommend installing the printer driver first. Recover full space on MicroSD card [SOLVED]

Q. Can you please help me recover the space on one of my microsdxc cards? I installed a custom OS on one with an sd formatter and now it only shows like 1/16th of it’s full size 🙁 I have tried the SD card on my laptop, my Android phone and my tablet. They ALL show the smaller size and don’t allow me to format the full size! Would like to do the recovery on Windows if possible. Thx!!! -Sam Staffton
