Does the Razer Edge support WiDi? [no]
Q. Does the Razer Edge tablet support WiDi?
A. No, it does not. 🙁
Confirmation of that rather disappointing fact:
Razer support.

I’ve heard there is a chip or card that can be upgraded or added to the Razer Edge so that it will use WiDi. If that is true, could you please tell me exactly what is required to make this upgrade? Thanks.
Hi Fred,
Thank you for your comment. Your best bet would probably be to watch this Razer Edge disassembly video:

(make sure it matches your model)
After confirming disassembly capability and that the mini pci-e wifi card can be removed, the Intel 6235 is a nice WiDi capable wifi card. Perhaps best of all, it is only about $23 on Amazon 🙂
You can find some examples of upgrading other devices here:

I hope this is of some help to you Fred, sorry that I do not have any better specifics for your nice tablet!
Best regards,
-JD
PS this forum thread indicates users having success upgrading some Edge devices to the 6235 card that I recommended 🙂
