ACPI TOS6205 drivers for Windows 7 [solved]
Q. Hello JD H, I have an issue, I installed win 7 (32 bit) on my Toshiba Satellite P300 and there is this unknown device (ACPI\TOS6205) I cannot find the right driver! Please can you assist me to get the driver? Abdul M.
A. Here is the download link for the bluetooth driver that should fix your ACPI TOS6205 Unknown Device issue:
[download id=”10491″ format=”1″], Toshiba dl link
UPDATE from Abdul M.
That was the right driver and I thank you for fixing my Toshiba Satellite problem. 🙂
With many thanks,
Abdul M.
More download details:
Since you specified that you are running 32 bit Windows 7, that linked driver is as follows (or the latest equivalent).
| 8.00.12 | Windows 2000 / XP / Vista / Windows 7 x32 (v80012T_20110809_x32.exe) |
The local mirror filename will be BT-stack-toshiba.zip and it extracts to v80012T_20110809_x32.exe
Overall I rate this driver 4.5/5 stars because it works well, however I dock a 1/2 star because Toshiba makes it hard to find!
Hope this helps!
–JD

Yeah, tried downloaded from Toshiba with 100KBps, but then tried downloaded from your mirror 1 – 2 MBps. Nice.
Hi Soul,
Thank you for your nice comment. It is always a bummer when waiting for a big download when their servers are slow 🙁 So I am very happy that the mirror was fast for you! 🙂
Best regards and have a great week!

the model of my laptop is Intel(R)core(TM) i3 2330M cpu @ 2.20Ghz, can i get a blue tooth for it
Hi Yared,
Thank you for your comment. Yes, you should be able to add bluetooth (either via a mini pci-e card or USB).
Could you tell me the brand and model of your laptop? (for example: Dell, Vostro V131) With that info I can provide you with more detailed instructions for adding bluetooth. 🙂
Best regards,
-JD
Thanks a lot J.D.H.A very big help.Godbless

my Toshiba satellite c660-1e3 on the device manager it saying “unknown device”,therefore,my usb port are no longer working help me please am stack
please give me all drive software for laptop satellite c660 <i can't have any software for Bluetooth and avg cad
Sorry for the late reply, Nabil, and this may have changed since I wrote the post. This post was only for the Toshiba Bluetooth driver that fixes the ACPITOS6205 device, not every driver for the whole C660, so I would use Toshiba’s support page for the rest of the C660 drivers.
i can’t install bluetooth driver in my laptop toshiba satellite c660-2D8 plz kindly send me link
Sorry for the late reply, Raja, and this may be outdated now. The link in the post was the Bluetooth stack I used for the ACPITOS6205 issue, so that is still the first thing I would try for your C660-2D8.
Hi… need your help I tried to install the driver that you suggested but in trying to continue the installation remains non-continuous loading… help me please.
toshiba satellite l45-asp4201wl – core i3 – 6 gb ram – 700 HD
Sorry for the late reply, Jondal, and this may be outdated now. If the installer just hangs, I would suspect a bad download or the wrong package for that exact model, so I would re-download it and then try Toshiba’s support page with your full model number rather than forcing this one.
help me to download the driver for ACPI\TOS6205 for my Thoshiba satellite c55-b293 notebook
OS:win7 64 bit
Sorry for the late reply, Ikseer, and this may be outdated now. I have not tested that exact C55-B293 on Windows 7 x64, but if the hardware ID is really ACPITOS6205 then the Toshiba Bluetooth stack is still the right kind of driver to try.
Thank you.
No problem! Glad I could help 👍
Thanks for this article, it helped me install the bluetooth driver for my Protege R830 while the driver provided on Toshiba’s site didn’t install at all.

Hi JD !
Wow ! I have a Toshiba TECRA M10 and always had trouble with the bluetooth. Thanks to your driver, it works perfectly !
The only driver I am not able to find is the Toshiba F3507g Mobile Broadband for Win 7 32 Bits. I downloaded several drivers from the support page of the of the Tecra M10 and from several shaddy websites claiming that it is an Ericsson part but none worked.
Could you by chance help me to find the correct driver for that ?
Thomas, I have not tested the F3507g Mobile Broadband piece myself, so I do not want to guess and send you the wrong package. This post only covered the Toshiba Bluetooth stack, so for the F3507g I would lean toward Toshiba’s Tecra M10 support downloads or Ericsson driver references for that exact card.
32bit file is not working, showing error “File corrupted” Pls. advise.
