Weekend Wrapup

The weekend is almost over, where did it go? This weekend was pretty laid back compared to the past few weekends. Two weekends ago we were in Tulsa for a whirlwind business/pleasure trip. Last weekend I spent the entirety of it doing surprise projects for Samantha (self-installing DirecTV and replacing two windows). Projects this weekend

This was a wonderful weekend at home. I worked on some fun projects and did some “business” work. Samantha played with some new toys (stroller, etc.) and cooked some delicious delights. Also, before the weekend got here, we had a lot of fun going out to eat with my mom and dad to celebrate my dad’s birthday! Even before that, we had a great Valentine’s day (which I still need to post an entry about…) But now back to the

American Airlines killed our Kindle

Alternative title: What to do if your Kindle breaks after warranty coverage has expired. What happened: last night we found out our Amazon Kindle was dead. It had been killed by American Airlines. What we’re doing: We are getting a replacement Kindle from Amazon (see below). What we will do differently: We will be even more careful with carry-on items that may get “valet checked” when we’re boarding the plane. We will try to check all of our valuables before leaving
