Question. One of my favorite features from Internet Explorer is the option to right-click to “Create Shortcut” on desktop. I find this handy when I am working on a project. I can just save shortcuts to the desktop and then move them to folders, so I can keep the web page URL link in a directory WITH other related documents. Whereas in FireFox I tend to just add the link to an ever-expanding bookmarks file. 🙁 It would be great

Today I had the chance to take the Canon PowerShot SX230 HS for a stroll. My mother in law recently purchased the camera and my wife has one of its predecessors, the SX210. Overall Canon has made some nice enhancements to this latest model and it truly is a splendid little camera for walkabout photography. Its main draw being that it packs an amazing zoom range in a relatively small package. Overall I give it 4.5 out of 5 stars
The WPMU (WordPress Multi User) project has always interested me. It’s a simpler version of what we do on Weblogs.us The general concept for WPMU is to have one master WordPress install that contains any number of blogs. WPMU recently merged into regular WordPress and the new “Multisite” option. So, WPMU is now no more, long live WordPress Multisite. 🙂 Since I’m testing out WordPress multi-site I’m also looking for a good web statistics solution for it. I’d prefer to
In the past it seemed like you could do a straight-up clean Windows 7 install using an upgrade DVD on a new PC. Last night we tried a clean install on my buddy’s new PC, using just such a Win7 x64 “Family Pack” upgrade DVD, and everything installed just fine (selecting “custom install” instead of upgrade install). BUT, after booting the Windows product key wasn’t accepted… So, the solution was #1 to go ahead into Windows (by not entering the
