Help, I have a new user profile in Chrome! [solved]
Q. Hiya, last time I started up Chrome I got a weird icon in the window and it had a user name Bluesy?! Did I get hacked?! How do I remove this user?! Please Help! -Joelle
A. Hi Joelle, do not worry. 🙂 Thankfully you are just seeing one of the many built in names that Chrome automatically give to a new user profile.
Here is a complete list of the possible Chrome user profile names:

List: Agent X, Bluesy, Mia, ButtonDown, Lemonade, Slice, Moonbeam, Pickles, Saratoga, Sneaky, Awesome, Fritz, Petals, Spandex, Sweetness, Fluffy, Sparky, Shady
You can also edit user profiles (or delete) them by going to Chrome’s settings page:
I hope this helps you Joelle! 🙂
Top Search Terms:

- agent x chrome (5)

The same thing happened to me, but when I clicked delete, it didn’t completely go away. The icon is still on the Chrome shortcut in the start menu. HOW DO GET RID OF IT!?!?!?!?
Sorry for the late reply, Chloe! The icon on the Start menu shortcut is just a cached icon, not a separate profile. Right-clicking the shortcut and choosing ‘Properties’ then clicking ‘Change Icon’ and selecting the standard Chrome icon should fix it. Or you can delete and recreate the shortcut and it’ll default back to the regular icon.
Oh No! Bad advice. Doing so can delete *all* Chrome settings.
Hello PP and thank you for your comment!
Could you provide a bit more info about the issue?
I believe if you only select the user you want to delete, i.e. “Bluesy” in this case (see screenshot), that there is no risk of deleting Chrome settings for your other users.
Best regards and have a great day,

yes, it says that it will delete all chrome settings and it can’t be undone
Hey Donna, yes, deleting a Chrome profile does remove all settings, bookmarks, and data associated with that profile. If the extra profile was empty or just auto-created (like ‘Bluesy’) you won’t lose anything meaningful. But if it had bookmarks or saved passwords you wanted to keep, make sure to export those first before deleting.
google needs to fuck off with this shit, pickles, AgentX
seriously just stick to something generic and meaningful rather than making it look like the system was hacked
didnt work there might have been an update or something bc there is no delete option or at least i cant find it
