Thank you for your comment. For the WGR614v9 router the default password is ‘password’ (remove the quotes). If that does not work you may want to do a hard reset You can find more info here:

Also, if you happen to have a WGR614v9 that was supplied to you by an ISP like Virgin then you may want to checkout the bottom of the router and see if they have any different username/password specified:

Sorry for the late reply, Joshua, and this may be outdated now. If `admin` and `password` did not work, the router was probably changed from factory defaults already. At that point a proper reset is usually the only way back.
Actually that is the defaul admin tool user and pass, the question i have is what is the default wifi password
BigMiza, the post was only about the router’s admin login, not a universal Wi-Fi password. I do not recall that model having one standard wireless password, because many of those older Netgears were set up open or were customized during setup.
