Olympus OM-D not showing live view [SOLVED]
If your Olympus micro four thirds camera ever refuses to show live view, you may need to press the following button:
The button is located on the right side of the viewfidner

Hi, I’m having a similar issue with my e450. Live view worked perfectly until I changed the lens.. now it’s doesn’t “preview” the shot. After taking a pic I can view what it took and all menu items. I did press the [o] button and still nothing. Tried a reset, nothing. What else can I try? Thanks!
Jesse, I have not tested that exact E-450 behavior, so I cannot say for sure it is the same issue. Since it started right after changing lenses, I would first re-seat the lens, clean the contacts gently, and check whether there is another EVF or LCD toggle involved.

Hi my EM5 II after pressing that button. Live view will not come back up. Would you know how? ✨🙏🏻🙏🏻
Ong, my best guess is that the same viewfinder or live-view toggle got switched again rather than the camera dying. If pressing that button once did not bring it back, try cycling it again and checking whether the eye sensor or EVF mode is taking over.
