Canceling the Base Plan ($82.99/mo)

1. Go to YouTube TV settings: Click here or open the YouTube TV app and go to your profile.
2. Select “Membership” from the menu.
3. Find “Base Plan” and click “Manage”.
4. Click “Cancel Membership” and follow the prompts.
5. Confirm cancellation – You’ll retain access until your next billing cycle ends.

Steps to Cancel an Add-On

1. Visit YouTube TV Subscription Settings.
2. Scroll to the “Membership” section and find the add-on you want to cancel.
3. Click “Manage”, then “Cancel”.
4. (if you really want to cancel, don’t choose pause)
5. Confirm your cancellation. (you may have to click “continue cancelling”)
6. They even tried to have me add channels and I had to click “No thanks”)

As with most corporations, they make you jump through quite a few hoops/clicks in order to cancel (it literally took me about seven screens of continuing to cancel 🤣) but just keep on confirming the cancellation and you will get there soon!!! 💪

NOTE: they may offer you a discounted rate for 6 months but then it bumps back up to full price. I declined.

After all that, it will take you back to your membership page and have a note about what you have access to until your subscription expires. Whew, they don’t make it easy to cancel!
