Work 1 failed, Error = 504.00 1 1 DVDFab to iPad [solved]
[starreview tpl=16]
I recently received error 504.00 1 1 in DVDFab:
This error occurred while trying to use the video converter to convert an MKV to h.264 for use on an iPad (1st generation and 3rd generation). I tried a variety of options in the settings menu and I also perused the forum threads below.
What eventually worked was installing the latest beta edition of DVDFab:
DVDFab8192QtBeta.exe (dl direct or [download id=”10480″ format=”1″])
After installing the beta version, my video converted successfully!

I tried the “beta” version from your local mirror but I still get the error “Error = 504.00 1 1”. I am trying to rip a DVD that I own to MP4 for a home server.
Hi Brian,
Thank you for your comment.
I too have still been getting the error sometimes, even about half way through the encoding process 🙁
It looks like there are still some issues with certain files, though I am surprised that you are getting that when trying to rip a DVD… have you tried contacting DVDFab? or Googling that particular DVD title and DVDFab to see if other users have encountered the issue and have a solution?
Sorry to not be of more help!
Best regards,
-JD
