ThisĀ driver is needed in order to connect your phone to a Windows computer/PC/laptop via a USB cable, the driver allows your computer to communicate and recognize your phone and can be used in the root/rootingĀ processĀ and to flashĀ CM9 etc. to your phone.
If you find this driver useful, please let me know in the comments and rate it if you can š
PSĀ The SGSII Skyrocket recently received ICS but this USB driver is listed as still working with ICS,Ā woot for ice cream sandwich! šĀ

Both Downloads arn’t working for myself!! What do I do?
Hi Will,
Thank you for your comment. I am sorry to hear about your issue! Can you elaborate on what isn’t working? Also, are you using the Samsung Galaxy S2 on AT&T, or another network?
Best regards,
-JD
I’ve tried downloading this driver multiple times and my phone still isn’t recognized! It charges, but I get the “USB device not recognized” message. I didn’t have this problem until recently. I’m using an AT&T Samsung Galaxy S2 Skyrocket. I know I can use wireless transfer, but I like using the USB method for some specific things..
Hi Karen,
Thank you for your comment. I too like to use USB transfer sometimes when wireless is too slow or a hassle. Unfortunately I know longer have a S2 Skyrocket available for testing š so I cannot troubleshoot the issue.
If another commenter has a solution or a different driver to try I will make sure to email you and let you know!
Sorry to not be of more help!
Best regards,
-JD
