4G internet access in Springfield MO

Recently I had a veryĀ pleasant surprise: Springfield MO has 4G cellular internet coverage!

Specifically, Clear has some WiMax towers up covering quite a bit of Springfield as well as Ozark, Republic and possibly Nixa. If you have aĀ compatibleĀ Sprint 4G phone then you may already be good to go.

I will post speedtest results when I get the chance šŸ™‚

    Hi J.D.,

It’s been a long time since my last visit. I’m happy and intrigued to hear of your living “off the grid”. I hope Samantha is realizing all of her photography ambitions, although I’m sure that child care is quite time consuming. Congratulations on your adorable daughter!

I pose the travel question below because my email address has undoubted ended up in lot’s of people’s junk mail filters. Please respond to my email address if you’re so inclined. I’ve come across a new travel interest of which you may have some familiarity: feral hog hunting (none in MN, unfortunately). Unfortunately, Missouri is out due to the fact that the Conservation Department discourages anyone from hunting specifically for feral hogs because huntersā€™ activities interfere with the Departmentā€™s efforts to eradicate feral hogs. Thus, it will not provide any information about known feral hog presence or location. Moreover, MO forbids night vision or laser equipment possessed with a gun/bow where wildlife can be taken. However, I was wondering, have you heard about any good hog hunting in Arkansas, Illinois or Indiana, all of which allow night vision?
