Question. I am trying to export a large Adobe InDesign project as a PDF but I only get a 0kB blank PDF. 🙁 I have tried restarting and sometimes that helps but it is driving me crazy. How do I fix this InDesign error? Answer. If your project is very large, your PDF may still be exporting in the background. How to change the Font color of the typewriter type tool in Foxit: Select the “Comment” tab, Select the Typewriter tool and click on your text box Highlight your text (you may need to double-click it first) Select Font Color under the “Comment Format” tab and choose a color Voila, you can now adjust the “typewriter” tool font settings however you like! 🙂
Foxit is a very nice PDF reader, however, a few versions back they made a change that is limiting for multiple monitor users. Specifically, PDFs open in separate Foxit tabs rather than their own windows. This can make it tough to compare two documents side-by-side etc. Thankfully, there is an easy fix to allow multiple Foxit PDF windows: File -> Preferences -> Documents -> Check the “Allow Multiple Instances” box -> Click OK That is all there is to it!

When doing taxes or any other task requiring document comparison, it can be very handy to view PDFs side-by-side. Unfortunately, many PDF readers today (including Foxit Reader) default to opening PDFs in tabs and you cannot ‘pull’ a tab out to make a new window.
