Dell 660s Ethernet driver for Windows 7 (Realtek RTL8111F network controller)

Recently I setup a new PC for Branson’s Nantucket’s architectural department. It is a nice Dell 660s small form factor (SFF) PC which came Windows 8. However, some of their architectural software is only compatible with Windows 7. That meant it was time to install one of my spare Windows 7 Professional SP1 licenses and everything went smoothly. Windows 7 ethernet goes to sleep! [solved]

Question. Hello! I have a problem with my network connection in Windows 7. Everything works great until the computer has been at rest for a while, then my ethernet connection drops out! As soon as I move my mouse or keyboard the ethernet comes back on. My laptop is NOT in sleep/hibernate mode when all this occurs! Please help!? Answer. Great question :-). Projects this weekend

This was a wonderful weekend at home. I worked on some fun projects and did some “business” work. Samantha played with some new toys (stroller, etc.) and cooked some delicious delights.
