This lithium-iron battery had promise, but it just didn’t deliver for my Honda CRF300L. After sitting for only a brief period, it lacked the power to start the bike reliably. Even while riding, the battery’s voltage was low at idle, which is not a confidence-inspiring trait when you’re out on the trails.
For a small displacement dual-sport, I expected better, but this battery struggled more than I would have liked.
Value for Money 💰
At this price point, you’d expect solid performance, but sadly, this one underperforms. The lightweight design is nice, and build quality seems solid, but what good is that if it doesn’t start your bike?
Many other riders report similar issues with these lightweight lithium batteries on motorcycles that require a bit more cranking power. If you’re considering this for your CRF300L, I’d say look elsewhere.
