Question: How do I get a refund for a domain that automatically renewed? I did not want the domain to renew, but then it did and I got charged for it. How can I get my money back?

Answer. If you catch the charge early then you can easily get a refund, here are the steps:

1. Delete the product from your account
   *make certain that you do not want the domain anymore, because deleting it from your account will allow other people to register the domain
2. Be ready to have your 4-digit secure pin (or another method of verifying that you own the account/domain) and the order # that you would like refunded
3. Start a support chat session and select “Billing” as the topic
4. Ask the support rep to please refund your funds for the domain that was inadvertently renewed and subsequently deleted

Voila, within a few days your refund should show up in your account or on your statement! 🙂 The whole process should take less than 10 minutes. I hope this helps!
