Huggies Pure and Natural Diapers (size 3) Out of Stock!

We’ve been surprised that almost every store, both online and brick/mortar, is out of Huggies Pure and Natural Size 3 diapers. Thankfully, our little girl can wear size 4 now but it’s still a little bit weird. What is up Huggies? I first noticed something weird when our scheduled “subscription” (recurring) order of diapers from Amazon was delayed. Then I asked our good friend Caitlin to pick some up from Target, little did I know that she would check at

Changing the oil and oil filter on a Chevy Avalanche [updated for 2013]

Today I changed the oil on our 2011 Chevrolet Avalanche for the first time. A few notes on the process: the oil drain plug (bolt) is located horizontally (sideways), not vertically (downward) like I’m used to. the drain plug uses a 15mm wrench toĀ re-tightenĀ the drain plug, I used 18 ft/lbs torque (the recommendations I found called for between 15-20 ft/lbs) the oil filter is surprisingly small access to the oil filter is generally good, but clearance is tight. most oil

Google Refine / Freebase

It’s always fun to come across awesome new sites! I found Jeff Foster’s site Fatvat when I was searching for some info about Oracle and Larry, Prince Of Darkness… after reading about it on Engadget. Anyway, after all that, here’s some really cool stuff that should be very helpful to some of my database projects: Google Refine, an intro by Jess Foster http://www.fatvat.co.uk/Google Refine is a toy for playing with data, originally developed by the team behind Freebase. The Starcraft II Van!

Last summer Samantha and I came across this awesome van: Of course, what makes it totally awesome is that it’s a STARCRAFT II van! StarCraft 2 is basically the only computer game that I still occasionally play (usually with my buddy Kevin). We started playing classic Starcraft 1 together way back in college (circa 1999-2003). So of course seeing this pimpin’ van really made my day :-). Top Search Terms:starcraft van (94)starcraft vans (13)van starcraft (9)starcraft van logo (5)star craft

I’m always surprised how often the “online statements” of Chase or Discover are “offline for maintenance” or suffering from “online error”. Sometimes it is nice to have a trusty paper statement as a backup :-). Daily update: some long overdue projects

The girls are visiting family in KS, so today I got some long overdue projects done: replaced the coaxial cabling for our WildBlue satellite internet (I previously nicked one of the cables, thus I needed to replace it) hammered in a grounding rod to attach the ground cable to (for the WildBlue satellite dish) finished running the ethernet cable from our office closet to the networking center of our home (thanks to my dad for helping me fish the wire

How to change iTunes backup Windows 7? [SOLVED]

Here’s a great tutorial on changing the location of the folder that iTunes uses to backup iPhones/iPods/iPad. Change the Location of Your iTunes Backups on Windows Vista or 7 (iPhone and iPad) | The iPhone Guru http://www.theiphoneguru.net/2010/12/30/change-itunes-backup-location/Fortunately, Windows has a way of doing this using a concept known as symbolic links (symlinks, or in M$ speak, NTFS Junctions).Ā  A symbolic link is similar to shortcut, but… Specifically, the folder to be moved is “C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backupā€. Moving this off our your
