Ryobi Electric Riding Lawn Mower Reviews

I recently ordered a Ryobi riding lawn mower. Living off the grid and relying exclusively on solar panels for power, I was especially intrigued by a mower that could be off the grid as well. Any reduction in trips to the gas station is a good thing in my book 😉 For those that are inquisitive like me, here are some of the battery specs: 48V battery system [(4) x 12V batteries in series = 48V] AGM batteries ~2 hours or

Standing seam metal for shop re-roof

The old ‘Ondura‘ roof had started to degrade, but thankfully there was only one leak so far and it was just on the side wing not the interior shop. I helped my buddy build a Sandy Bridge 2600K system this evening Elaboration: This lovely little creek often runs year round, but when Missouri is dry the creep sometimes dries up. Then one day the rains and water tables will cooperate to start the creek running again and clear out

Brief update

Our good friends from Arizona are visiting. Went kayaking on the Eleven Point river with friends on Wednesday. Gorgeous trip! Roofing is ordered and should be in this week or next. Mowed last week and weed whacked today. Building a new unRAID based media server :-). Cleaned my “shop” area with Samantha’s excellent help. Weeded our small garden area. Did maintenance on our off-grid battery system today. I redid some of the wiring in our house in preparation for a
