The reason being that pleasure entails the least amount of miles driven (i.e. weekend use) under generally less accident prone circumstances (short trips, open roads, etc.). Conversely, a commute to work or school can entail repeated daily driving in heavy traffic and

Best (low cost) digital signage solution w/remote centralized management

Recently I was tasked with recommending a digital signage solution for a client. Specifically, they needed centralized maintenance and control of approximately 20-30 signs covering 10-12 locations. Drawbacks of Mvix Amazon Fire TV app

As best I can tell, for digital signage there are two main drawbacks to the Mvix Amazon Fire TV app solution:   #1 Monthly fee They charge a $30 per month fee per account. Fastest Web Hosting

Wow, finding a quality post on “fastest web hosting” is exponentially harder today than a few years ago. In the past you could generally find a rather lengthy blog entry showcasing a nice comparison between top hosts. Today you find pages of search results tailored to sell you hosting and generate affiliate revenue for the site owner. 🙁 Thankfully, there are some rather in-depth comparisons and tests available out there. After perusing a good number of resources, I eventually settled on

InMotion Hosting: East vs. West Hosting

During the InMotion Hosting signup process, they ask if you want to be East or West coast. Specifically, which coast you want to optimize for by locating your site(s) on servers proximal to one coast or the other. Even though I am in relatively central US (MO), they recommended West and that is what I went with. Will keep you posted if I find any more specific info from them on server locations and responsiveness.
