Using a USB flash drive with a Samsung Galaxy Note 2
I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to use my old USB flash drives with my new Galaxy Note 2. All that was required was a compatible micro USB OTG cable:
SGN2 w/USB flash drive connected
After connecting, the drive was automatically mounted and I used the Samsung ‘My Files’ app to access the drive. Pretty easy and not bad for about $1.70! 🙂
BONUS: USB hubs are also reported to work, so it should be possible to connected multiple devices (like a thumbdrive and a keyboard etc.) simultaneously.
