Using a USB flash drive with a Samsung Galaxy Note 2

I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to use my old USB flash drives with my new Galaxy Note 2. All that was required was a compatible micro USB OTG cable: After connecting, the drive was automatically mounted and I used the Samsung ‘My Files’ app to access the drive. Any laptops powered by USB? [yes, sort of]

Q. Hello,I am something of a minimalist when it comes to traveling. Therefore  I would like to standardize on one charger for my gadgets: USB charging works for everything except my laptop.
