This awesome latte can do double duty for Christmas or New Year’s. Simple to make and delicious to drink.

My wife says it is head and shoulders above StarBucks eggnog latte. Our friends say it brightens up their holidays.

Here is the recipe: (makes 2-4 cups depending on your espresso maker/bialetti)

*note: this entire recipe costs about $0.25 a cup in ingredients and requires minimal equipment.

Ingredients:

+Medium coffee (can also use decaf)

+Whole milk (substitute soy milk, oat milk or almond milk if desired)

+Local eggnog

+Orange liquor

Instructions:

+Brew espresso

~preheat cup by microwaving for 15-30 seconds (depending on microwave power) or putting cup on a warning plate

+Add 1/4 espresso to cup

+Add 1/8 or splash of eggnog (add more/less to suit sweetness desire)

+Add heated whole milk

+Add splash of orange liquor
