How to change the Font color of the typewriter type tool in Foxit: Select the “Comment” tab, Select the Typewriter tool and click on your text box Highlight your text (you may need to double-click it first) Select Font Color under the “Comment Format” tab and choose a color Voila, you can now adjust the “typewriter” tool font settings however you like! 🙂

Foxit is a very nice PDF reader, however, a few versions back they made a change that is limiting for multiple monitor users. Specifically, PDFs open in separate Foxit tabs rather than their own windows. This can make it tough to compare two documents side-by-side etc. Thankfully, there is an easy fix to allow multiple Foxit PDF windows: File -> Preferences -> Documents -> Check the “Allow Multiple Instances” box -> Click OK That is all there is to it!

When doing taxes or any other task requiring document comparison, it can be very handy to view PDFs side-by-side.
