Acer Aspire One AO756 memory upgrade and SSD swap

The Acer Aspire One AO756 is a nice little laptop that is available for a quite reasonable price (usually around $270 USD). As an added perk, with a few easy upgrades it can be even better! Performance/longevity have been excellent, I can leave bluetooth, GPS, wifi and cellular on all day with heavy usage (including music/movie playback and

Using a USB flash drive with a Samsung Galaxy Note 2

I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to use my old USB flash drives with my new Galaxy Note 2. All that was required was a compatible micro USB OTG cable: After connecting, the drive was automatically mounted and I used the Samsung ‘My Files’ app to access the drive. Pretty easy and not bad for about $1.70! 🙂 BONUS: USB hubs are also reported to work, so it should be possible to connected multiple devices (like a thumbdrive and a
