Q. Are there any tablets with wireless display (WiDi) capability available out there? A. Yes! Tablets are pretty awesome, but man can they be a pain to repair! Whereas a simple little notebook like the Acer AO722 requires removal of a SINGLE screw to access key components, something like the iPad mini is an exercise in frustration. 🙁 With that being said, here is a pretty comprehensive look at tablet repairability. Reason for asking: I really enjoye the Google Play website. However, I have purchased a lot of apps, and the “My Android Apps” listings are getting very cluttered. Q. Aloha, I have a number of Android devices now and some I have sold too. Whenever I download apps or do stuff in Google Play-used to be Android Market-I find that my old unused Android phones/tablets are still showing up 🙁 It is getting cluttered and it bothers me. Recently I came this close to buying an ASUS Transformer Android tablet (and of course the requisite keyboard dock with extra battery power). Likewise, my buddy John refrained from buying a tablet until he got an awesome deal on a 32GB HP TouchPad for $149. My mom even has an iPad 2. Not to mention the folks that got 16GB TouchPads for $99! It must be tablet-fever time… so why did I refrain from buying a Transformer tablet? One word.
