WN1000RP default username and password [SOLVED]

While setting up the WN1000RP to extend a wifi network, I was surprised to encounter a password prompt:   The included manual makes no mention of a username or password. So after a bit of trial and error I determined that the username is: admin and the password is: password (both user name and password are lower case) Now I am happily testing out the WN1000RP 🙂

BlackBerry PlayBook wireless file transfer, WiFi file sharing [SAMBA]

D-Link DAP-2553 default admin username password

The default login settings for the D-Link DAP-2553 wireless access point/bridge are as follows: The default user name is: admin The default password is: (blank, i.e. no password) PS we use these splendid little wireless access points in WDS mode to bridge a 1/3 mile gap between two buildings in a rural area with heavy foilage. The DAP-2553 models have PoE (power over ethernet) and they perform wonderfully for us in challenging environments 🙂
