Fix the brightness adjustment buttons on a Dell M6700 [SOLVED]

Occasionally after a few hibernate/resume cycles, my Dell Precision M6700 laptop’s brightness UP/DOWN buttons become unresponsive (specifically, the Fn+Up Arrow and Fn+Down Arrow key combination). Target’s No-Receipt Return Policy Limit

Question from Kasey: Hiya. Recently tried to return some items to Target without a receipt and they said I exceeded my return limit? What does that mean?
