Subtitles in VLC on Android TV [SOLVED]

Until today, I have always had trouble with .SRT subtitles when watching videos on my Android TV device (the awesome NVIDIA Shield TV). The subtitle option was always greyed out and there was no way to load subtitles (even if they had the same filenames etc.) 🙁 The issue appears to be related to watching videos over SAMBA and launching VLC via an app like ES File Explorer. In those instance VLC will not be able to locate the subtitles…. Thankfully, there is a

These entries go in the bought & sold category which is mainly for reference/historical purposes 🙂 This particular entry is for one of my favorite tablets, the  LG G Pad 8.3, this little guy was ideal for Candy Crush and other games. The 1920×1200 IPS screen is absolutely phenomenal. A bit too small for work though, so I eventually sold it to someone that could use it. Android LG G Pad 8.3″

Q. Can you please help me recover the space on one of my microsdxc cards? I installed a custom OS on one with an sd formatter and now it only shows like 1/16th of it’s full size 🙁 I have tried the SD card on my laptop, my Android phone and my tablet. They ALL show the smaller size and don’t allow me to format the full size! Would like to do the recovery on Windows if possible. Thx!!! -Sam Staffton

I want to sell them on eBay and right now they are pretty scuffed up 🙁 -Stephanie A. If you ever need to quickly remove scratches or glue from a metal/aluminum clad device (like an iPhone, iPad, or other tablets/phones) you may want to try this simple tip: find a mild toothpaste (one that has a bit of grit to provide some abrasiveness) put a small dab on your finger (you may want to apply

Google Find My Phone (even if Device Unavailable)

Google has been adding more action oriented features to their engine. One of the most useful is “find my phone”. If you have an Android phone you can try finding it here: https://www.google.com/search?q=find+my+phone Also, even if the map/screen says “Device Unavailable” you may still be able to “Ring” the phone… this will ring the phone for 5 minutes and this is exactly what I did this morning to find my phone (which was hiding in the covers) ;-).
