Hotel laundry bag, what is the strip for?
I always wondered what the thin tear off strip at the top of hotel laundry bags was used for. I finally found out:

Wait… no special instructions on how to properly tie the bag using a loop!!! Agast, what am I to do now! Heheh j/k, what I think is funny is how it took me 20 years to finally search this on the internet. In case anyone is wondering, the idea was that you fill the bag, twist the top then wrap both loop around the twist and pull the loop through itself. This creates a slip knot that comes open easily and allows you to hang the bag on the door for pickup. Or maybe I’ve just had too much coffee. Cheers and see you on the road Traveler’s!
