Intel NUC Windows drivers [downloads] [SOLVED]

If you have a NUC with a clean install of Windows 7 (or 8, 8.1 and Windows 10) you may have some unknown devices and devices without drivers. I have two Intel NUC’s that were equipped with 16GB of RAM (2x8GB DDR SODIMMs). The little PCs were originally intended for server use where the relatively vast amount of memory would have been useful. The RAM kits were also purchased when prices were rather absurdly low (around $60-$80). Unfortunately, since then RAM prices have  doubled. 🙁 These two machines never actually made it into server usage. They ended up being used around the house for a simple HTPC setup

The small form factor (SFF) product category is really heating up! Apple pioneered the mass market consumer small computer arena with the original G4 based Mac Mini way back in 2005. Recently Intel took it a step further with their Next Unit of Computing (NUC), releasing a machine considerably smaller than the Mac Mini: 31.3 cubic inches vs. 85.5 cubic inches… yet it still packs significant computing power. This is becoming less of a niche market and much more mainstream.

Thanks to KW for the heads up about the latest Intel NUC! The new NUC  motherboard’s model # is D53427RKE, and while it is not Haswell, it DOES have some nice improvements over the original NUCs: +now includes USB 3.0 (1 port) +includes THREE display outputs and fully supports TRIPLE MONITORS!
