Recently my iPod displayed a message telling me that I had purchased an app on my computer and that I could turn on automatic app downloads on my iOS device. Here are the steps to do so:

  1. Go to Home screen -> Settings -> Store (you may have to scroll down)
  2. Wait for the “Automatic Downloads” listing to display (you may have to login with your Apple ID if you haven’t already)
  3. Toggle the “Apps” option to “ON”

Now you should be all set! :-)
